HONORS/AWARDS
2007PUBLIC COMISSION/PURCHASE: “Fish Story Altarpiece,” purchased by the Erie Bayfront Convention Center Authority for permanent display at the convention center in Erie. The competition was juried by Richard Armstrong, director of the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, PA and Judith O’Toole, director of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Greenville, PA.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
2010Founding Board Member: iAMDA (International Association of Mobile Digital Artists). Served as one of a five-member team who founded and incorporated an international organization of mobile, digital artists (artists who create work on handheld devices such as iPhones, iPads, Droids, etc).
2010Coordinator/Organizer: MobileArtCon 2010: NYU, New York, NY. Serving as principle education forum organizer of inaugural international conference of artists at New York University’s Tisch Interactive Telecommunications Program. (October 2010).
2010Guest Curator: “The Incliner” Online Art and Literary Journal of the Art Academy of Cincinnati: Curated an international exhibition of iPhone art by 10 artists, with guest introduction.
